ROUSH CleanTech, in its short history since July 2010, has already contributed to significantly reducing the amount of CO2 that will be emitted into the atmosphere for years to come.

Through the sales of our Ford F-series and Ford E-series liquid propane autogas fuel systems, we can calculate an estimate that close to 108,098,183 fewer lbs of CO2 will be emitted over the lifecycle of the vehicles we’ve converted so far.

Fleet vehicles travel a significant distance in their lifetime, and while we can’t track the actual miles traveled for each vehicle sold, we can make some assumptions around the lifecycle of each vehicle based on our discussions with our fleet manager customers. Below are the assumptions that were used for the LBS of CO2 calculation.

  • 223 2007.5 - 2008 Ford F-150 running on propane autogas since March, 2008
  • 419 2009 - 2010 Ford F-250 / Ford F-350 running on propane autogas since July, 2010
  • 885 2009 & Newer Ford E-150 / Ford E-250 / Ford E-350 running on propane autogas since July, 2010
  • 118 2009 & Newer E-350 DRW Cutaway running on propane autogas since July, 2010
  • 190 2009 & Newer E-450 DRW Cutaway running on propane autogas since July, 2010
  • 15 mpg average for gasoline Ford F-150
  • 14 mpg average for gasoline Ford F-250 / Ford F-350
  • 13 mpg average for gasoline Ford E-150 / Ford E-250 / Ford E-350
  • 9 mpg average for gasoline Ford E-350 DRW Cutaway
  • 9 mpg average for gasoline Ford E-450 DRW Cutaway
  • 200,000 mile lifecycle per vehicle

49,773 lbs of CO2 emitted x 223 vehicles = 11,099,379 lbs of C02

Ford F-250 / Ford F-350 Emissions Reduction Calculation (for one vehicle):

53,329 lbs of CO2 emitted x 419 vehicles = 22,344,851 lbs of C02

Ford E-series Emissions Reduction Calculation (for one vehicle):

57,431 lbs of CO2 emitted x 885 vehicles = 49,103,505 lbs of C02

Ford E-350 DRW Cutaway Emissions Reduction Calculation (for one vehicle):

82,956 lbs of CO2 emitted x 118 vehicles = 9,788,808 lbs of C02

Ford E-450 DRW Cutaway Emissions Reduction Calculation (for one vehicle):

82,956 lbs of CO2 emitted x 190 vehicles = 15,761,640 lbs of C02
