Emissions Savings

ROUSH CleanTech, in its short history since July 2010, has already contributed to significantly reducing the amount of CO2 that will be emitted into the atmosphere for years to come.

Through the sales of our Ford F-series and Ford E-series liquid propane autogas fuel systems, we can calculate an estimate that close to 166,797,752 fewer lbs of CO2 will be emitted over the lifecycle of the vehicles we’ve converted so far.

Fleet vehicles travel a significant distance in their lifetime, and while we can’t track the actual miles traveled for each vehicle sold, we can make some assumptions around the lifecycle of each vehicle based on our discussions with our fleet manager customers. Below are the assumptions that were used for the LBS of CO2 calculation.

  • 228 2007.5 - 2008 Ford F-150 running on propane autogas since March, 2008
  • 549 2009 & Newer Ford F-250 / Ford F-350 running on propane autogas since July, 2010
  • 1,272 2009 & Newer Ford E-150 / Ford E-250 / Ford E-350 running on propane autogas since July, 2010
  • 118 2009 & Newer Ford E-350 DRW Cutaway running on propane autogas since July, 2010

Ford F-150 Emissions Reduction Calculation (for one vehicle):

49,773 lbs of CO2 emitted x 228 vehicles = 11,348,244 lbs of C02

Ford F-250 / Ford F-350 Emissions Reduction Calculation (for one vehicle):

53,329 lbs of CO2 emitted x 549 vehicles = 29,277,621 lbs of C02

Ford E-series Emissions Reduction Calculation (for one vehicle):

57,431 lbs of CO2 emitted x 1,272 vehicles = 73,052,232 lbs of C02

Ford E-350 DRW Cutaway Emissions Reduction Calculation (for one vehicle):

82,956 lbs of CO2 emitted x 118 vehicles = 9,788,808 lbs of C02

Ford E-450 Emissions Reduction Calculation (for one vehicle):

82,956 lbs of CO2 emitted x 415 vehicles = 34,426,740 lbs of C02

Ford F-450 / F-550 Emission Reduction Calculation (for one vehicle):

117,323 lbs of CO2 emitted x 25 vehicles = 2,933,075 lbs of C02

Ford F-650 Emission Reduction Calculator (for one vehicle):

164,253 lbs of CO2 emitted x 7 vehicles = 1,149,771 lbs of C02

Ford F-53 / F-59 Emission Reduction Calculation (for one vehicle):

117,323 lbs of CO2 emitted x 7 vehicles = 821,261 lbs of C02

11,348,244 lbs of C02 + 29,277,621 lbs of C02 + 77,052,232 lbs of C02 +9,788,808 lbs of C02 +34,426,740 lbs of C02 + 2,933,075 lbs of CO2 + 1,149,771 lbs of CO2 + 821,261 lbs of CO2 = 166,797,752 total lbs of C02
