How to Apply:
  • Complete the application located on the ProCOT website.
  • The completed application must be submitted within 60 days of the purchase or conversion date. Incomplete applications will not be processed.
  • Mail completed applications to:

Incentive Details:
  • Incentives will be available for the incremental cost between gas/diesel vehicles and the LPG vehicle minus the applicable IRS tax incentive.
  • Up to $5,000 will be awarded for vehicles qualifying for 50% tax incentive.
  • Up to $2,000 will be awarded for vehicles qualifying for 80% tax incentive.
  • ProCOT is offering incentives for the purchase of engines converted to LPG. These may be bi-fuel and/or dedicated systems.
  • Up to $6,500 will be awarded for conversions.
     
Qualifications:
  • The purchaser’s fleet must have a minimum of five (5) vehicles prior to application.
  • The purchaser’s fleet vehicle must have less than 30,000 miles to qualify to the ProCOT Vehicle Incentive.
  • The purchaser must be a private fleet.
  • Fleet vehicles awarded a ProCOT incentive must be registered and operated in Texas.
  • The purchaser shall agree that the vehicle for which an incentive is provided must remain in use, in the service area for a period of three (3) years or 45,000 miles.
  • The purchaser shall agree to follow the equipment manufacturer’s recommendations for maintenance of propane engine and conversion equipment.
  • All new OEM propane vehicle engine and/or all conversion systems must be EPA and/or CARB certified systems.
