The Versatility of Propane

At ROUSH CleanTech, we talk a lot about the versatility of propane autogas. It can be used for school and paratransit buses, telecom and delivery vans, logistics and linen trucks, vegetation management service vehicles, and more. As the public and private sectors learn more about the widespread capabilities and performance of this clean-burning fuel, we continue to develop new products. We now have 14 platforms with plans for more in 2014.
Propane autogas has become a clean and cost-effective solution for fleets of all sizes and vehicle requirements. Telecommunications companies, such as DISH Network, school districts, like Omaha Public Schools, and bakery product distributors, like Alpha Baking, operate fleet vehicles on this abundant, domestic alternative fuel.
Name another alternative fuel that can work for fleets with one vehicle or thousands of vehicles. Not to mention, the diversity of the work performed. Propane autogas is used to do everything from delivering packages, to picking up school children, to shuttling people to and from an airport. The options are endless. And those are just some of the uses over the road with propane autogas.
Off road, lawn mowers, heaters and forklifts fueled by propane also provide economic and environmental benefits.
