Frequently Asked Questions:
Warranty
When does my ROUSH CleanTech warranty coverage begin on my vehicle?
Your ROUSH CleanTech warranty coverage begins the day you take delivery of your new vehicle or the day it is first put into service, whichever occurred first.
How do I activate my warranty on a conversion kit?
To activate the warranty on a ROUSH CleanTech conversion kit, you must complete and return to ROUSH CleanTech the top portion of the ROUSH CleanTech System Warranty Registration Card, along with your service order installation receipt which includes your vehicle identification number (VIN) within 30 days of the service order installation date identified on your receipt in the enclosed envelope. Make a photocopy of this documentation before sending it to ROUSH CleanTech.
How can I ensure my warranty coverage remains current?
Follow the Ford Maintenance Schedule (included with Ford Owners Guide), as well as the ROUSH CleanTech Maintenance Schedule provided in the ROUSH CleanTech Owner's Manual. This schedule provides guidance and serves as a recording tool for the maintenance of your Ford product. ROUSH CleanTech and/or the Ford Motor Company may deny your warranty coverage if you fail to keep records and receipts verifying the performance of scheduled maintenance.
What happens if I modify my vehicle?
Making any alterations to a factory installed component or ROUSH CleanTech System component will void the ROUSH CleanTech Limited Warranty.
Will I have to pay for ROUSH CleanTech warranty repairs?
You will not be charged for converted warranty repairs made during the warranty period for ROUSH CleanTech products serviced at a ROUSH CleanTech Authorized Service Center.
Is my ROUSH CleanTech vehicle warranty transferable?
The ROUSH CleanTech System Limited Warranty is transferable to a second owner and is secondary to all other warranties and manufacturers' recall that may be in effect.
Will ROUSH CleanTech provide a rental vehicle while mine is being serviced?
No. ROUSH CleanTech warranty coverage does not provide rental vehicles during warranty service.
Can I get warranty service for my ROUSH CleanTech vehicle while in another country?
If the vehicle was sold or leased by a Ford dealership in the U.S. or U.S. Federalized territories and was originally registered, licensed, and operated in one of these areas, you have ROUSH CleanTech warranty coverage when you travel with your vehicle outside the United States. In some cases, you may have to pay for the servicing Ford dealership in a foreign country for a repair that is covered under ROUSH CleanTech warranty. For refund consideration, you should call 800.59.ROUSH (800.597.6874).
