Advanced Propane Bus Service Training Coming to Oregon

Our Advanced Propane Bus Training team is traveling to the Pacific Northwest in May. Be sure to take advantage of the free training, which includes one day for dealer technicians, and one day for customer technicians. These jam-packed informational sessions will teach you the ins and outs of the propane-powered Vision.

Western Bus SalesWestern Bus Sales will host the May class at their Boring, Oregon, location at 30355 Mt. Hood Highway. The training will be offered on Tuesday, May 10 for dealer technicians and Wednesday, May 11 for customer technicians. Both days training runs from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Plan to arrive the night before your training session and then you are free to leave once we’re done at 5 p.m.

Conducted by ROUSH CleanTech, this training covers technical, service and diagnostics aspects in a hands-on format. We want you to get up-close to the propane autogas fueling system of these alternatively fueled buses.

The agenda includes:

  • System walk-around overview and general diagnostic information.
  • How to diagnose fuel system faults and perform repairs on propane buses.
  • How to disassemble and test fuel system components.
  • Propane shop safety information.
  • Ford IDS functionality and Ford warranty presented by Ford Component Sales.
  • Review of the Blue Bird multiplex system presented by Blue Bird.

Again, there’s no cost for this comprehensive training— it’s free! All attendees are responsible for their own travel arrangements and must attend the full day.

Technician Propane TrainingPlease promote this to your technicians and customers so we can fill up all 30 spots each day. Make sure anyone who would like to attend registers online here to reserve their spot. Our last training was such a success that we want to continue the momentum!

If you have any questions, please call 800.59.ROUSH or email Lance Suttle, our training coordinator, at lance.suttle@roush.com.

We look forward to seeing you in Oregon!
