Autogas Thrives in 2015 and Beyond

Dear Friends of ROUSH CleanTech,
Todd Mouw, VP of sales and marketing, ROUSH CleanTechIn 2015, leading organizations across North America adopted propane autogas vehicles into their fleets. Just this year:

  • Along with approximately 2,000 propane school buses sold this year, Boston Public Schools rolled out 86 school buses fueled by propane autogas this school year. Detroit Public Schools deployed 35 alt fuel buses. And, students in the Parry Sound and Muskoka regions of Canada have stepped aboard 20 new autogas buses.
  • SMART introduced 61 new autogas paratransit buses into its fleet. The agency projects its total fuel and maintenance savings to be $1.1 – $1.7 million over the lifetime of the fleet with a return on investment of less than four months.
  • ConocoPhillips converted 30 trucks to propane autogas this year and plans to replace up to 300 more trucks over the next five years with vehicles powered by propane fuel technology.

This is only a sampling of industry trailblazers who helped put almost 9,000 ROUSH CleanTech vehicles on the road — vehicles that have displaced over 100 million gallons of diesel and gasoline!

As alt fuels continue to thrive, call us today at 800.59.ROUSH to see how vehicles fueled by clean and cost-effective autogas fit into your organization’s 2016 plans.

Happy Holidays!

Sincerely,

Todd Mouw
