Better Fuel Delivery, Powertrain Control with New Fuel System

We’ve developed a new and improved Generation 4 fuel system that’s already being rolled out in various ROUSH CleanTech vehicle platforms. This technology implements new and revised components to better manage fuel delivery and powertrain control.
An updated supply valve, fuel rail pressure control module, and integrative return valve now regulate fuel through the lines. Using a fully variable fuel pump output, the addition of a tank pressure sensor helps the system dial in a prefect pressure increase in all driving scenarios. New fittings are on the fuel lines — no special tools required. Injectors fit into newly designed silver anodized fuel rails, allowing you to easily identify the new system.
Our service and engineering teams are creating Generation 4 resources to support our service partners. For example, detailed service and diagnostics manuals will explain the new components, replacement procedures and diagnostic information. Our new interactive training modules will help technicians learn the new technology.
We are also creating a new online course that’ll be a virtual walk-through of real-life service and diagnostic procedures.
