Ultra-low NOx Engine Aligns with California’s Climate Goals

We’ll be exhibiting at ACT Expo in Long Beach, California, later this month. This is the largest clean fleet event in the country. It’s important that we have a presence to create more awareness around renewable propane and California’s drive toward carbon neutrality.

This is a hot button topic in the state. Last fall, former Governor Jerry Brown unveiled an ambitious climate goal to put California on the path to be carbon neutral, including transportation. The Executive Order lists one specific way is by “Supporting clean transportation to reduce petroleum use 45 percent by 2030.”

Propane autogas is a “shovel ready” solution that is available now in all states. It answers both the environmental and economic sustainability goals public and private fleets are craving. Our 0.02 ultra-low NOx engine combined with renewable propane decreases the carbon intensity that aligns with California’s vision of carbon neutrality. And, the new governor seems to be supportive of Brown’s climate initiative.

Stop by booth No. 735 at ACT Expo where we will have a near-zero emission, propane-powered Ford F-750 on display. We can answer your questions about renewable propane and the Golden State’s aggressive goals. If you can’t make the expo, give us a call at 800.59.ROUSH.

We hope to see you at ACT Expo to learn more about how your fleet can make a positive impact for the environment and your bottom line!
