District is Going Green With Buses

Big yellow school buses hardly look like energy savers, but the owner of Canyon State Bus Sales is sold on the concept, and Mesa Public Schools is banking on propane-powered transportation both to save money and better the environment.
Mesa, the largest school district in the state, recently bought 27 propane school buses from Canyon State. The Class C buses typically hold 77 passengers.
